Best of all, this easy-to-prepare mix doesn't require eggs or oil, saving you time, money, and the hassle of measuring out ingredients. Performing well as rolled or dropped biscuits, simply use the helpful chart on the packaging to determine your desired batch size and cooking instructions. To prepare a 5 lb. batch of 2" (1 oz.) biscuits, add 4 1/2 cups of cool water, or alternatively 5 cups of buttermilk or milk, into a stand mixer bowl and add the mix. Using a paddle, mix on low speed for 1 minute. Turn the dough out onto floured surface, roll out, and fold in half. Roll to a 1/2" thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter. Place the dough side by side with their edges touching on an ungreased sheet pan and bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for 14-16 minutes.
