This filter features a thermoplastic hot-melt adhesive sealant that secures the cells within the frame and prevents air bypass. It can withstand continuous use at a maximum operating temperature of 110 degrees Fahrenheit and has an air velocity of 500 FPM. Made of premium grade, 60% activated coconut shell carbon and high-impact polystyrene frame components, this filter is durable and easy to install. Its V-shaped frame holds up to 8 lb. of activated carbon for optimal gas and odor absorption, and it has a 5 lb. solvent capacity.
