This thermal imager can be used to detect hot spots in panels, on wiring, or on parts of equipment, as well as detecting energy loss within a building. It can also be used to detect moisture behind walls and flooring or to detect clogs in pipes. This model is compatible with most iOS device versions 11 or higher with lightning connectors. Using the Klein Tools mobile application, it allows you to easily capture, store, and share thermal images and video such as time-lapse video.

This unit has 10,800 pixels to provide excellent resolution, making it easy to troubleshoot hot and cold spots. It offers a temperature range of -4 to 752 degrees Fahrenheit in 3 color palettes, including ironbow, rainbow, and grayscale. It boasts a variety of features such as touch-point temperature, high / low temperature points, and differential temperature readout. Plus, it allows the user to select high and low temperature alarms to easily monitor systems.

This thermal imager offers an adjustable emissivity from 0.01 to 0.99 for accurate measurements. It features a durable aluminum housing, and it is drop protected up to 6' 6" for reliable use in the field. It can fit smartphones with cases up to 1/16" thick. Phone cases that are thicker than 1/16" thick may have to be removed for a secure connection. This thermal imager includes a hard storage case with a carabiner for easy, secure transport.
