Equip your toolbox with this Klein Tools moisture meter. This rugged tool is an ideal choice for HVAC professionals. It can be used to detect moisture from leaks and flooding and to measure the moisture content in building materials up to 3/4" deep. It uses electromagnetic field technology for nondestructive detection. It is calibrated for use on drywall, masonry, hardwood, and softwood, and it features a simple mode button to toggle between the options.

This meter features a bright, reverse contrast display and an LED bar graph with 9 bars to clearly display readings. It has a hold button to hold the current measurement on the display screen and a low battery function to alert users when batteries must be replaced. To conserve battery life, this unit will automatically power off after 10 minutes of inactivity. It is constructed of durable ABS plastic, and it is drop tested for up to 6' 6" high. It comes with (1) 9V battery.
