This KitchenAid KCG8433ER red burr coffee grinder is designed to give the perfect grind every time with consistent grind sizes for all brew methods from French press to espresso. This coffee grinder features 70 precise settings, and the Automatic Smart Dosing technology removes any guesswork out of dosing, automatically adjusting the grind time to the proper volume and consistency. It comes with a burr grinder, a grounds tray, a portafilter holder, a bottom and top hopper, and a cleaning brush.

The 70 precise settings are perfect for achieving blends from coarse to fine, and the easy reference brew method icons make it easy to use, matching the right grind size to each brew method. With its Automatic Smart Dosing technology, this grinder allows you to select the cups or shots for your drink while the grind-time adjusts as needed, regardless of grind size or grew method. This grinder also has a built-in adjustable portafilter holder so you can grind directly into 54 mm or 58 mm portafilters. Plus, this grinder is designed with Anti-Static technology, reducing static charge and messes to keep your workspace clean. Depending on bean type and roast, the hoppers have a 10 oz. capacity. Easily transfer any unused beans to a container, sealing to keep fresh, or switch beans between brews.

Burr grinders use abrasive surfaces to grind your beans into a more uniform size. Changing the distance between the surfaces changes the size of the grind. With more control over grinding your coffee and better consistency, burr grinders are often preferred over blade grinders. This grinder is designed to pair with the KitchenAid semi-automatic espresso matching (sold separately), but works well with other brew methods as well. This unit requires a 120V electrical connection for operation.
