John Guest® SI030812S Details

Install a safe and reliable water distribution system with this John Guest® Superseal gray acetal elbow. Made with a durable gray acetal copolymer body, this fitting is perfect for use in potable water tubing systems like ice machines, water dispensers, and faucets. Constructed to provide extra grip, this elbow features a Superseal design on one end to provide a simple connection between stainless steel, hard steel, or other polished metal pipe, and it fits 1/4" and 3/8" pipes.

Quick and easy to install with no special tools needed, this fitting utilizes a unique push-to-connect design. After the tubing is pushed into the fitting and up to the tube stop, the 301 stainless steel teeth grip onto the pipe to hold it in position. Meanwhile, the collet also grips on before the food grade, double nitrile O-rings compress around the pipe for a leak-free seal. The Superseal end is even made with a hand-operated nut and wedge-shaped plastic washer to apply extra pressure to the collet and O-rings and ensure the teeth bite fully into your pipe. Plus, this fitting is corrosion-resistant for long-lasting, reliable use!
