Made with a durable white polypropylene body, this fitting is perfect for use in potable water tubing systems like ice machines, water dispensers, and faucets. This stem reducer easily inserts into a John Guest® push-to-connect fitting to simply reduce the tube size of plastic or copper pipe, and it fits 5/8" and 3/8" pipes.

Quick and easy to install with no special tools needed, this fitting utilizes a unique push-to-connect design. After the tubing is pushed into the fitting and up to the tube stop, the 301 stainless steel teeth grip onto the pipe to hold it in position. Meanwhile, the collet also grips on before the food grade EPDM O-ring compresses around the pipe for a leak-free seal. Plus, this fitting provides superior chemical resistance for long-lasting, reliable use!
