John Guest® PISV0412S Details
Install a safe and reliable water distribution system with this John Guest® gray acetal shut-off valve. Made with a durable gray acetal copolymer body, this fitting is perfect for use in potable water tubing systems like ice machines, water dispensers, and faucets, as well as air and inert gas applications including pneumatics, vacuums, or moving CO2 and nitrogen through beverage gas lines. This shut-off valve easily attaches onto plastic or copper pipe, and it fits 3/8" pipes. Once installed, the full bore quarter-turn handle provides you with a simple way to isolate fixtures or appliances for maintenance.
Quick and easy to install with no special tools needed, this fitting utilizes a unique push-to-connect design. After the tubing is pushed into the fitting and up to the tube stop, the 301 stainless steel teeth grip onto the pipe to hold it in position. Meanwhile, the collet also grips on before the food grade nitrile O-ring compresses around the pipe for a leak-free seal. Plus, this fitting is corrosion-resistant for long-lasting, reliable use!
