John Guest® PI251012S Details
Install a safe and reliable water distribution system with this John Guest® gray acetal tube-to-hose stem adapter. Made with a durable gray acetal copolymer body, this fitting is perfect for use in potable water tubing systems like ice machines, water dispensers, and faucets, as well as air and inert gas applications including pneumatics, vacuums, or moving CO2 and nitrogen through beverage gas lines. The stem of this adapter easily inserts into a John Guest® push-to-connect fitting to provide a simple transition to a barbed, hose-type threaded connection for plastic or copper pipe, and it fits 5/16" and 3/8" pipes.
Quick and easy to install with no special tools needed, this fitting utilizes a unique push-to-connect design. After the stem is pushed into a compatible fitting and up to the tube stop, 301 stainless steel teeth grip onto it to hold it in position. Meanwhile, a collet also grips on before a food grade nitrile O-ring compresses around the stem for a leak-free seal. Plus, this fitting is corrosion-resistant for long-lasting, reliable use!
