The Hulled barley flakes are great. They have a great texture and the bulk fifty pounds is a great buy. A wonderful item for making our specialty stew.
we can easily cook hulled barley flakes like oats meals: boiled the flakes with water, and then add milk after stewing 2 minutes. The meal is ready after milk is boiling.
Hulled Barley Flakes is an excellent product. Just a few minutes to cook. I enjoy eating it with banana, walnuts and blueberries, making for a very healthy breakfast! Barley has a considerably lower glycemic index than oatmeal, so it is particularly suitable for diabetics. Also great in baking bars, cookies, cakes, meatloaves. Barley is rich in minerals and fiber, and is an alkalizing food, so I try to eat it several times a week.
