These hulled barley flakes add the nutritious benefits of fiber and whole grains to your breads, cookies, baked goods, and other dishes! They're made by conditioning, steaming, and flaking pre-cleaned, partially-debranned barley berries. With a light and flaky consistency, these barley flakes have a nutty flavor and a chewy, pasta-like texture.

Stock your establishment with this 50 lb. bulk supply of hulled barley flakes and discover how many different types of recipes you can prepare! Barley is a versatile cereal grain with a light color that can be used in many cooking and baking applications. Try substituting barley flakes for oats and add extra nutrition to granola, cereals, scones, and cookies. Barley flakes can be cooked like oatmeal for a hot breakfast dish, or they can be baked into bread doughs for extra texture.

This versatile grain is high in protein and makes an excellent addition to protein-rich entrees, including hearty stews with rice and beans, mushroom and barley soups, and more. Whichever way they're prepared, these barley flakes add appetizing nutty flavors and nutrients to your most popular foods. They're sold in a bulk bag for high-volume restaurants and bakeries.

Better than oatmeal this cereal is tasty and has higher fiber content than oatmeal I recommend it. My favorite breakfast. My order arrived in three different groups in a different time that make it not so convenient.

we can easily cook hulled barley flakes like oats meals: boiled the flakes with water, and then add milk after stewing 2 minutes. The meal is ready after milk is boiling.

Hulled Barley Flakes is an excellent product. Just a few minutes to cook. I enjoy eating it with banana, walnuts and blueberries, making for a very healthy breakfast! Barley has a considerably lower glycemic index than oatmeal, so it is particularly suitable for diabetics. Also great in baking bars, cookies, cakes, meatloaves. Barley is rich in minerals and fiber, and is an alkalizing food, so I try to eat it several times a week.

I saw and decided to try and now I love barley flakes! Make a great 'barley oatmeal' and has a very nice taste. I still like oatmeal but it's good to have a changeup. I am also going to make barley cookies and can use with some breads I make. Anything you use oatmeal for, you can substitute with the barley flakes. I will buy again.?
