Hometown Provisions 5 lb. Alfalfa Honey - 6/Case

This does NOT taste like alfalfa honey. Alfalfa honey should be light and have flavors of vanilla with some floral tones. This honey tastes like it has molasses in it. The color is darker than it should be and when I warmed some up in my tea, it tasted like the floor of a barn. Of course, this is a consumable product so it is not returnable. I have 3 buckets of honey I cannot use. Feels like a bait and switch. I bought some Orange Blossom a few years back and it had a similar barn floor taste, whereas true Orange Blossom honey should taste like grape candy. Their Buckwheat is delicious, though. Makes me wonder what is happening to the rest of their line.

This afalfa honey is great quality, and is a huge size and will last you for some time. It has a great flavor, and i have not gotten any complaints about it. It works well for cooking and baking as well as added into drinks, i will be purchasing again for my coffee shop

Distinct flavor that is not overwhelming. You can taste the alfalfa hay by it self or when added to tea, apples, and oatmeal. But it will not be noticeable if you add it to something with a strong flavor.
