This slow-dripping method of making coffee allows the water to move slowly through the coffee grounds one drip at a time creating a sweet, full-bodied cup of coffee. Simply pour the coffee grounds into the strainer, place the upper bowl on top, fill it with water, and watch as the extracted coffee forms droplets that fall. Extraction is complete in as little as 1 hour, and there is no speed adjustment required.

When you've finished brewing, the strainer is easy to remove and the lid of the upper bowl fits nicely as a lid for the lower bowl. The beaker-shaped design and spout of the lower bowl mean it can be used as a decanter when the extraction process is complete. It is also perfect for use with loose-leaf teas!
