Great Western makes excellent candy floss. Their concentrates are great economical buys if you do not mind mixing it with sugar yourself. Every flavor we have tried has been delicious. Pink Vanilla and Strawberry are our favorites.

Great Western Great Floss concentrate comes in a 1 lb. Container. Pink Vanilla is one of our top requested flavors. I like to use this Cotton Candy Concentrate and mix 1/2 to 1 tsp into sugar in a pint size jar. Just add the sugar and concentrate to the jar and shake. I bring about 20 flavors to each event.

Ok, i am soooooo done with the already premixed flosses. This works perfectly with granulated sugar and also cane sugar. For the cost of this product you will triple your return versus buying premixed. Trust me :-)

I purchased 4 of the Great Western Concentrate flavors as a trial. The concentrate worked well, just not a fan of the Vanilla flavor of this concentrate. It provided a nice bright pink color. Mixed well with the sugar . I like the concept of concentrate, able to intensify the flavor by increasing the amount added to the sugar. Prefer the grape and blue raspberry flavors.

The Great Western pink vanilla cotton candy sugar is really delightful. A lovely taste and it really fluffs up nicely when spinning. Can not wait to try more flavors.

I bought this concentrate as a way to save money on floss sugar after previously buying the pre-mixed Great Western floss sugar. The instructions recommend 1 or 2 tablespoons per 10lb bag of sugar. I find that the best ratio to get the same vibrant color when the candy is made is 3 tablespoons per 4lb bag of sugar. With that ratio you will be able to do roughly twelve 4lb bags of sugar, so the cost savings is still substantial. You can do fewer tablespoons, but the bright pink color will be less vibrant, and the bright color attracts the eyes. Also, don't try to match the color of the sugars, only the finished cotton candy. The pre-mixed variety is much darker before being spun, but they are the same color afterwards.

I'm not a big fan because of how easily it burns and tars a machine. I will find another purpose for it though. I't will make a tasty floss but in my opinion it is not worth the damage it could possible have over time on my machine.

The Great Western Pink Vanilla Cotton Candy Concentrate Sugar gave our product a delightful finish. We were able to balance the amount with the sugar to make it taste not too much and not too little. Just to the way we liked it.

It's colored, flavored sugar, so it's not an especially complex thing, but it makes a nice shade of pink and tastes like the cotton candy I remember from my youth. I do wish it had come with a little scoop or plastic measuring spoon or something that fit in the container for convenience, but the product itself is exactly as described.
