This General Pipe Cleaners Gen Eye Hot Spot pipe locator makes finding what you need quick and simple! With a depth range of 10' for cast iron pipes and 20' for clay or plastic pipes, it's ideal for locating pipe lines quickly. This tool runs for up to 30 hours on 2 D-cell batteries (sold separately), providing long-lasting use for more than twice as long as its competitors. Plus, the auto-shutdown function saves you additional energy. Its total field antenna array locates pipes from any direction while the line direction compass tells you how the pipe has been laid. This pipe locator can find inspection cameras, utility lines, active power lines, and sondes, locating up to two power frequencies and two sonde frequencies. It can also locate four line frequencies when paired with the external transmitter (sold separately). With its intuitive design, there's no need to interpret bar graphs or numbers. This unit utilizes on-screen arrow icons to point you in the right direction and to the final location.

Made for rugged use, this tool performs excellently in wet, dusty, or dirty jobsite conditions. To prove its durability, it has passed a 3' 3" drop test and the screen passed an 18" steel ball drop test. This pipe locator has a menu-based interface that is easy to read and use.
