I bought this nifty little Franmara 8222 "tri-valve" "air flow" wine pourer to see if it was any different than more expensive models. Overall, it is a good purchase; it is a very simple design, and my only "ehh" moment was when I tried to press down the aerator into the bottle; I worried momentarily that the plastic might break from medium downward pressure, but it did not. It does not restrict wine flow very much. If you want to serve a variety of red wines at your next dinner party and don't want your guests fussing with expensive decanters, this is a very nice compromise. It aerates your wine, and stays attached to the bottle until you remove it.
