Very sturdy construction. It's one solid piece of thick steel so it's going to last a long time. The edges though on mine are a little sharp I have to say. Not sharp enough to likely cut you but I'm surprised they're not at least more sanded down. A little disappointed cause it's makes it less comfortable to use
