The FMP 253-1273 Shatterproof Glass Bulb Cover for 100 Watt Bulbs is something you need when you have lights above your food prep areas. They are very durable.
Very good product, I recommend this cover. Doesn’t leak and very very useful, not too expensive at all. Very clear and easy to clean it.
These bulbs work great and fit snug with our existing hood. I will say that once when changing the bulb I did drop the cover and it did not shatter, the fall distance was about three feet onto a cast iron range cover.

This Shatterproof Glass Bulb Cover lasted us forever until someone hit and broke it. So that is why we ordered the same product. It worked great while we had it.
