Fantastic design great idea to have a backrest that doubles as a heat or icepack! The chilled pack doesn't last long, as it's best to ice 10-15 minutes, but still gives some help and relief and the heat seems to remain longer and it does contour to your back but takes some getting used to having it in a chair
