    Works just as expected. Set it upright in the middle of the bowl pan before putting in your batter. Easy to remove. This made a big difference in my 10" and 12" cakes. The cake was super moist too. Love these for baking both cakes and bread. The small size of the rod does not leave a large unsightly hole, which has to be filled or covered when decorating cakes. I Will buy a set for my mom as well.
