Be prepared with this Lavex remote capable, triple head, New York City approved LED exit sign / emergency light with a steel housing and battery backup. With this combination emergency light and exit sign, you can rest assured that your business is prepared. This specialized emergency light is ready for use in damp locations, plus it comes with a battery backup so that even if the power goes out your hallways and emergency exits will still be well lit.

The housing is made of durable 20 gauge steel with a white finish so you do not have to worry about failure under extreme conditions. This unit features three adjustable, weather-proof, 1.5W, adjustable square LED lamp heads to direct light where you need it. The lamp heads are made of engineering grade, impact-resistant thermoplastic. Knockouts are provided on the unit for easy relocation of the lamp heads. The overall unit wattage is 5.2W for 120V and 6.2W for 277V. Since this unit is remote capable, it can also power additional lamp heads for a total wattage of 6W for all lamp heads. With the 3 lamp heads already on the unit for 4.5W total, then the unit can power an additional 1.5W remote capacity. If one of the original 3 lamp heads on the unit are removed, then an additional 3W of remote heads can be added as they would not exceed the wattage capacity.

To make sure that the light keeps working even when the power is out, this unit comes with a 9.6V, long-life, maintenance-free, rechargeable NiCad battery. There is an internal switch that automatically connects the internal battery to the lights for a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency illumination during a power outage.

Once the battery is discharged the fully-automatic, two-rate charger initiates charging to ensure that the battery is recharged within 24 hours. The charge rate / power on LED indicator light and the push to test switch ensure that this emergency light meets mandatory code compliance testing requirements. External mounting brackets make wall mounting simple. Knockouts are provided on the back and side for wall or side mounting. This unit comes with a removable steel knockout chevron directional indicators that can be changed in the field.

This unit requires a 120/277V electrical connection for operation and is UL listed for damp locations (32 degrees Fahrenheit to 122 degrees Fahrenheit).
