The inner hose is made from heavy duty corrugated stainless steel, but it also has a stainless steel outer braid that helps protect the inner hose from stretching when the equipment is moved for cleaning or maintenance. This hose measures 48" long and has a 1/2" NPT connection size. All Dormont blue hoses also come with Stress Guard® rotational fittings that reduce stress on the hose, prevent kinking and twisting, and make it easier to install.
A blue PVC coating helps this hose resist damage from cuts and scratches, while offering another layer of protection to the inner hose and braid. The coating is also antimicrobial, and it makes cleaning easy!
This kit's SnapFast® device is a durable, one-handed quick disconnect that installs easily by attaching it to the appliance inlet and your blue hose. When it's time to clean your appliance, SnapFast® disconnects the gas flow for safe, easy maintenance, and then reconnects with just a push and a click. For added safety, SnapFast® has an internal thermal shutoff, designed to shut off gas flow when temperature inside the fitting exceeds 350 degrees Fahrenheit. It also comes with a full port valve and (2) elbows for easy installation.
The restraining device attaches securely to your equipment and the wall of your facility to reduce the chance that you pull it to the end of the hose length and subject it to hard impacts when you move your unit out from the wall for cleaning and maintenance. These work very well and are extremely well priced. Say good buy to having the plumber come and check on our pipes. We can do it ourselves! Great price.
The gas plumber says that it works well was was easy for him to install it also cost significantly less than letting the gas guy supply it to you. Its nice and long so we can wheel our oven out of the way without even using the quick disconnect feature.

The pricing ofbconnectors are great however we had a few issues with them leaking. Not sure if we received a defective one cause in the past I have used these for our restaurant and they were great.
