It is especially ideal for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical applications. It works by eliminating oxygen flow to block air infiltration, resulting in the slower spread of fires. This helps protect the flame from spreading into walls or ceilings.

This sealant is flame-resistant and self-extinguishing for optimal safety. The bright orange color makes it easy for inspectors to indicate that an approved fire block sealant is present. This unit comes with a reusable straw adapter, allowing it to be used for multiple projects per can. It is a Class A rated foam sealant, and it is V-0 rated for the UL94 flammability test. It also meets UL 1715 and modified ASTM E814 safety standards.
