Details

Built for the great outdoors, the CaterGator CG35TANW tan 35 qt. mobile rotomolded extreme outdoor cooler / ice chest keeps your food items cold for any occasion! This impressive feat is made possible with a triple-insulated design, which boasts a layer of high-density polyethylene, a layer of polyethylene and foam, and a final layer of food-grade polyethylene. Plus, the rigid, tan exterior and 304 stainless steel hardware provide the durability you need to keep up with your many trips and remote events. From upscale receptions to festivals and fairs, venues will be easier to work with due to this cooler's reliability and convenience.

To ensure ease of use, the cooler features a suitcase-style handle, making it comfortable to roll and transport. The exterior also includes indentations, while the rubber latches boast finger indentations for superior ergonomics. Rubber 8" diameter wheels make the cooler easy to roll, saving your employees from having to lift heavy loads. Self-stopping lid hinges help simplify access too, so you can quickly and easily retrieve ice, chilled beverages, and other products with ease.

In addition, the lid itself delivers exceptional versatility, with a 14" ruler engraved along its edge and 2 built-in cup holders. 2 bottle openers are also included, which function as metal reinforced padlock slots when you want extra security. After use, the cooler is easy to wash thanks to a built-in drain plug, and because it is attached with a chain, it won't be misplaced on the job.

Wherever the party and whatever the menu, this cooler / ice chest provides the holding power, durability, and convenience that you need and want. Keep guests well fed and properly hydrated with the CaterGator!

Customer questions about this product

How long will a CaterGator cooler hold ice?

Ice retention relies on a variety of variables, including ice quality, type of ice (cubed, crushed, dry, blocked), ice quantity, environment, sunlight exposure, and much more. Due to the diversity of external factors and the lack of industry standards for ice retention measurement, precise timeline claims are difficult to accurately predict. Often these ice retention claims (X number of days) are generated from simulated environments and are not practical in the real world. These high performance CaterGator coolers, however, offer virtually indestructible, triple insulated polyethylene construction that, given our thorough testing, offer unbeatable ice retention for all your adventures. To maximize your ice retention, minimize exposure to direct sunlight and other impacting variables.

My cooler leaks from the lid when it’s turned on its side or flipped upside down. Does this mean it’s not sealing?

No. These coolers are designed to remain right side up. The weight of the lid, the gasket, and locking the latches creates the seal. Once tipped, this weakens the seal of the lid gasket and can cause water to seep out.

My cooler lid seems to be stuck because of a vacuum seal. How can I open it?

To release the vacuum seal on your cooler, slightly twist open the drain plug to release the pressure, then open the lid. Be sure to do this in a location where any drained liquid won’t damage flooring. Once the lid is open, fully tighten the drain plug to prevent further leaking.

What is rotomolding, and how does it impact my cooler?

Rotomolding is a process used to create a solid, seamless plastic lid and body. This method ensures greater impact resistance and long-term durability compared to traditional hollow-core plastic coolers with seams. As a result, CaterGator coolers will not warp, crack, sweat, or leak, and they will keep contents cold for extended periods.
