Choice 1 Qt. Backup Container with Brown Cap - 6/Case

I like the size of this gallon jug and shipping was very fast. I have just gotten them (12) and will be using to transport BBQ sauce. To be safe I have washed by putting auto dish washing power and water in them and shaking vigorously! I also rinsed in the same vigorous manner. To my dismay, these lids leak as vigorously as I shook them contrary to what the item description indicates and "leak proof" is the reason I bought these So, if you don't mind putting some plastic between the jar and the lid, get these.

I use this container to store juice, it is turn out that it leaks. This container made from thick plastic, wide lid so it is easy to clean.

Super handy to store sauce and slaw.

These containers decidedly are not leak-proof. I bought to store grains for home brewing, and was hoping to keep contents air-tight. When washing, I tested by hand-washing and turning upside down with water. Not a good sign watching the water leak out. I like the price, so will try ordering 89/400 lids with foam liners to see if things tighten up. Choice Manufacturing should add foam to the lid, improve their quality control, or stop claiming they are leak-proof. If things work out with the new lids, however, I'll buy another dozen. We'll see. I'll follow up with the results.

I can't say whether the lid leaks or not since I bought some of these to store dried goods in. These work well with dehydrated persimmons, apples, vegetables, herbs, potato slices, marshmallows, etc.

Great product - keeping item in rotation due to both price and quality.

Really impressed with how sturdy the container and cap are with them both having almost no bend. My only grip is that if you wanted to stack these on top of one another they don't lock into one another.

These are great containers and well worth the money. Much cheaper than trying to buy storage containers somewhere else. Even different color lids for color, coding your items. These stack great, and make great storage containers for things in your pantry.

Great for sauces, etc. We love them and have reordered more. The only downside is that the screwcap groves will catch some product so a little more effort is needed to insure clean when washing
