I love this pan for New England buns, but I had to figure out how to use it. Just pressing the dough in as pictured leaves you with pretty "meh" looking results. You gotta divide the dough into portions and roll into skinny logs them pack them in the pan. Then you get the proper separation at the top. I thought at first you flipped it and the bottom became the top until but they never looked that pleasing to the eye. I portion my dough into 2.75 ounce portions, shape into log, then fill the pan. They come out lovely, you can pull them apart or cut them easily.
