I didn't buy this mix to make the traditional Au Jus. I used it as a background flavor to make a stock too cook my rice in for a beefy flavor that would later turn it in to beef fried rice. I am satisfied with my putchase.

This makes a great base for our au jus. Has a great flavor on it's own, but I always add to it. Initially purchased one package to try. We now order it in larger amounts.

Great tasting mix with a variety of uses. It's great as Au Jus for sandwiches, but it can be used for soups, gravy, and as a flavor enhancer for stews and chili.

This is a great tasting sauce mix. A must for steaks and hamburgers anything that needs a little kick. Not to strong if you mix sparingly. Easy just add water for a wonderful treat to your meal. If you would like a thicker sauce more like gravy just add a little corn starch and heat it up stirring until thick, then let it cool. It\'s really good.

This is very good powdered au jus. I mix it with the pan drippings from top round roast. It is rich, however not salty. I think used sparingly, this would be good in french onion soup or in place of any beef base.

I wasted a lot of time looking for Au Jus in a grocery store before I just started buying it from here by the case a couple times a year. I put this stuff in dang near everything, like its a spice. It goes in my chicken and pork chop breading, it goes on sandwiches, I add it to soups and casseroles, and I almost forgot it makes a good roast beef gravy mix too for dipping your french dip into or for pouring over your prime rib. You can get like a half an ounce at the grocer, in a packet, I go through this stuff way to fast for that.

Chefs Companion Au Jus is soo nice to have or that deli Roast Beef. I keep these on hand to make meals easy. Not only easy they taste good.

This product was inexpensive, but not a great flavor. Certainly not a replacement for actual AuJus, but it will work if you need to stretch a batch out.

This has been a wonderful product. We used it to marinate our freshly sliced steak, which seasoned it very well, then put out a beautiful steak sandwich.

This makes a perfectly seasoned Au Jus for prime rib and roast beef. I also use it for baked steak, and a beef gravy base. Absolutely delicious- I use it for catering and at home.

we use all the chefs conpanion brand aujus and numberous gravy mixs for a lot of gravies with meat drippings. and they are a good base for soups also.
