Effectively serve warm, plated meals with this Carter-Hoffmann EquaHeat heated banquet cart! This cart features (3) 22 1/8" x 58" shelves spaced 16 1/2" apart to hold and transport up to 150 plates at a time. It is designed for plates / covers ranging from 8 3/4" to 11" in diameter. It has a maximum temperature of 200 degrees Fahrenheit and heats up to 160 degrees Fahrenheit in only 20 minutes. It features a removable, top-mounted convection heating system for fast heat up and recovery and even heat distribution. Operation is made easy with a full-range thermostat control knob and a power indicator light. A dial thermometer with a remote sensing bulb and bulb protector accurately measures the temperature and make it easy to read.

This durable unit is constructed of double-walled, welded stainless steel with a 20-gauge polished exterior and a 24-gauge interior. All seams are turned in to eliminate raw edges. The base frame is made of 12-gauge stainless steel with 1x1 16-gauge tubular perimeter supports for additional strength. The removable, welded shelves are made of double-nickel plated wire with reinforced shelf clips to support heavy loads. This model offers excellent heat retention with 1" thick, high-density fiberglass insulation on all sides and the door and 1 1/2" thick insulation on top.

The interior of this cart is accessible by welded, double-panel 20-gauge door with a concealed 5/16" pin hinge. A flush-mounted, heavy-duty sliding latch with a finger grip prevents the door from accidentally opening. Plus, a high-temperature silicone gasket provides a heat-resistant seal between the door and cabinet. This cart rolls on 6" industrial-grade polyurethane casters with 12-gauge caster bolsters. It includes 4 casters, 2 fixed and 2 swivel with brakes, in a wheel-ahead pattern for easy rolling over uneven surfaces. It is easy to push using horizontal, full-width stainless steel handles bolted on both sides and reinforced with backup plates. To protect your surroundings, a non-marking gray vinyl bumper is set in a heavy-duty extruded aluminum frame.

This cart can be operated with either an electrical connection or canned fuel. The canned fuel drawer provides access to fuel without opening the cabinet, and it securely latches shut during transport. Deflector shields above the door force heat to the baffle to evenly distribute it throughout the cabinet. Canned fuel is set back from the drawer handle to reduce burn hazards. For electrical operation, a 120V connection is required and a 10' cord is included.
