Pair this savory soup with a pack of crackers, or serve it with a freshly baked roll or crisp side salad. Try topping it with a drizzle of fresh cream or chiffonaded basil for extra flair! To give customers more options, offer it a la carte, or simply serve it as a starter to a specialty entree. It's perfect for pairing with half of a sandwich, making for the perfect lunch combination or light dinner option.
With its homemade taste, this soup is a great way to quickly and efficiently provide great service to your customers while saving on kitchen prep time and reducing labor costs. This soup can be heated right in the bag for convenient preparation. Prior to service, boil the bag of soup in a large pot of boiling water. Cook until the product reaches 185 degrees Fahrenheit, checking the temperature by removing the bag from the water and folding it around a stemmed thermometer. The bag should remain unopened until the soup is thoroughly cooked and ready to serve or hold until serving. When holding the product, ensure that its temperature remains over 150 degrees Fahrenheit. When ready to serve, ladle the soup into a cup or bowl, pair with crackers, and serve!
For more than 150 years, Campbell's has been a trusted name in American households. With humble roots as a wholesale produce distributor, Campbell's made a name for itself when company president John T. Dorrance invented the process of condensing soup, allowing shelf-stable soup to be sold in cans all over the country. Campbell's groundbreaking canned soup drew international attention and earned the company a bronze medal at the 1900 Paris Exposition. This medallion still appears on cans of Campbell's soup to this day! Over the decades, Campbell's has developed new products and acquired new brands, but has remained true to their original mission to bring their customers wholesome, nutritious food that enriches lives. Perhaps that's what has helped Campbell's remain a household name, pop art icon, and trusted brand for more than a century. Browse Campbell's extensive line of foodservice offerings to find delicious solutions for your establishment that carry the Campbell's name your customers know.
