Hi I'm Sally from Bob's Red Mill Natural Foods and I'm going to show you how to make peanut butter brownies with Bob's Red Mill all-purpose flour. It's America's best baking flour, milled from the highest quality U.S. wheat. This is a do-anything flour that is perfect for all kinds of baked goods including breads, muffins, pancakes, cookies, and brownies like the one's i'm making today. These decadent treats bring together two of my favorite things: chocolate and peanut butter. They're absolutely delicious and the recipe is so easy. Here's how to make peanut butter brownies: First, heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, line an 8" baking pan with parchment paper or tin foil, leaving the edges hanging over the side of the pan. Spray the parchment or foil with cooking spray. In a microwave safe bowl, heat 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips and 8 tbsp butter until the chocolate chips melt, stopping every 30 seconds to give it a stir. It should take 1-2 minutes total. When the chocolate chips have melted, add 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and set aside. In a medium bowl combine 3 tbsp melted butter, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1/3 cup powdered sugar, 1/4 tsp of salt, and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Stir until the mixture is smooth and set aside. In a large bowl, combine 1 1/4 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 2 tsp vanilla extract and 3 eggs, and mix well. Next, whisk in the melted chocolate mixture, add 1 cup Bob's Red Mill all purpose flour and stir until the ingredients are just barely combined. Don't over mix or you'll end up with tough brownies. Now, pour the batter into the pan, drop dollops of the peanut butter mixture on top of the brownie mixture, then swirl a brownie knife through it to make a pattern. Bake 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean. You'll want a few crumbs to stick to the toothpick. Cool on a wire rack for one hour, then use the linger to pull the brownies from the pan and they're ready to cut and enjoy. These delectable treats are a favorite here at the mill.
