Handle feels ok in your hand but overall length is short. You would definitely not want to use the brush near an open flame. Bristles spread sauce well but handle sticks into bristle length by about 1 inch.

It had a cheap price but it is not the best quality. Smaller than we thought.

Hold way more bbq sauce than silicone bbq brushes; I'd say a tablespoon or more of sauce. The only downside is that the mop will stain easily with dyes in the bbq sauce so it will get discolored and not stay nice and white for a long time like the silicone once do.
