I bought this as a holder for some pastries. The open separations in the bottom of the crate were too big and the pastries fell so I had to turn it over and put them over a plate. Still nice, the vintage wood look is appealing.

I love these items and have quite a few pieces from this wood selection but some of them have broken a part. Now we can easily put them back together bu nail or glue. I feel for the price they should be a bit more sturdy. These are items that I use for catering so they can get a lot of use. I also buy from webstaurant because it is for commercial use which gets a lot of use so items need to be sturdy.
