    The picture is kind of deceiving because the basket is very small and can't hold that many pieces of fruit. The metal finish is darker than the picture. It is made with heavy metal and looks sturdy.

    We previously used wicket baskets for bread but as more and more of them started to fall apart, we looked for a metal replacement. Many were too small, some too large, others just too expensive. This basket was just right! I wish the finish was a little more "coppery" to fit in with our theme/decor but it's a beautiful and functional basket that's easy to store.
