My wife recently ordered this copper hammered cocktail shaker for me. It is very stylish and went well with the rest of our bar equipment. However, on the very first use, it would not seal properly and a good bit of my cocktail leaked on the counter. I made several other attempts (with water) just to see if I could get the shaker to not leak. But I was unsucessful. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed and will need to return the item.

A beautiful shaker with disappointing usability. Ordered five of them for our bar because they truly are a gorgeous product. After about a week or two worth of work only one of the five holds an adequate seal, the other four spray the cocktail everywhere while shaking resulting in a wet bartender and a dirtier bar. As I said, I truly wish they worked well because the aesthetic is exactly what we're looking for. If ordering for residential use, I'd probably consider buying again. However, not suited for the volume a busy, commercial bar provides.

I really hate to leave a 2 star review for this because it is really a nice shaker. Unfortunately, mine was not functional until my husband saved the day & pounded the top off.. upon arrival, the top piece was IMPOSSIBLE to get off! i had 3 grown men try & no one could remove it. It too my husband pounded it off from the inside & then had to sand the inside of the cap pretty heavily for it to be able to be removed again. it still isn't a good fit and its difficult to remove. The LOOK of this is amazing. it looks very expensive and feels nice too.. but without my husband performing surgery on this, it would be useless to anyone
