The polymer itself is natively white and therefore without paint, negating the need to repaint this diffuser. The strong design maintains integrity and will not bend or scratch, despite being 50% lighter than its metal competitors.

This eggcrate return grille is exceptionally easy to install. The hinged grille face drops down to conveniently change or clean the filter, which can be done with the use of a commercial dishwasher. Free of sharp edges and drop resistant, mating this diffuser on compatible standard-size air ducts is a worry-free experience. The extra tall 2 3/8" neck with molded-in duct tabs make it easier to affix this diffuser to existing duct systems. This item has a consistently smooth finish and will not show scratches or score marks during install.
