These are some very strong and sturdy shelves. You can set them up wherever you'd like, just make sure that it is leveled so that it does not wobble with heavier items. I have 4 of these shelves in my basement and they make organization so much easier. I can find whatever I need quickly and easily. You do not have to worry about rust either because they are steel and great quality!
