This chair is very well made.The base, arms and frame are all metal and the faux leather looks like the real thing. I was very pleasantly surprised by how good the vinyl is...not cheap looking at all. The chair is also very sturdy and comfortable. Others have commented about the arms being wobbly, but I didn't experience that issue. My only small complaint is that I feel like the arms could be a little bit wider. If they weren't padded, I think they'd be pretty uncomfortable, but with the padding, they're fine.
