I find that it's not easy to just estimate slicing a pie 9 ways. This solves that problem. It works well to mark where a pie needs to be cut, or to go ahead and actually cut the slices. I was expecting this to come packaged in a box,which it doesn't, just bagged, but the doesn't affect how it works.

I use these for cutting pie into equal size slices. You still have to do a bit of eye-balling to make sure it's right on center, but once it is they work great as guides. The 9-cut one is a smaller slice of pie but larger than what I would consider a tasting size.
Using this toll makes it easy to get even cut slices each and every time. You can push down for a cut or just slightly to mark it for future cutting.
