This Watts 0009865 LF3001A 3/4" dielectric union is designed to be installed between pipes made from dissimilar metals. Using this part prevents accelerated corrosion and deterioration in the piping system from galvanic and stray current. It features a brass tail piece construction with a 3/4" female iron pipe thread to solder connection. It has a steel adapter and nut and a polysulfone insulator.
This dielectric union is designed to withstand a minimum of 600V on a dry line with no flashover. It's rated to 180 degrees Fahrenheit at 250 PSI with the standard gasket. It's used to replace a worn or broken part on your equipment.
