This brush works great for spreading oil on dough balls and dough proofing boxes. Eventually it will flatten out a bit but it still works great.

This brush does not have bristles coming off on the food. It used in our garlic butter sauce and spreads it perfect! I recommend it and it’s a great price.

This brush has a stiff brush tip, so keep that in mind deciding if it's the best for you. With a wide brush tip helps you cover a lot more of surface area and the curve and hook make this a very clean tool to use. I highly recommend this brush.

Didn't work for me. It's a high quality brush with secure bristles and heft, but far too stiff for egg wash on dough. I can't imagine using it successfully on delicate pastry.

We purchased both a 2 inch and 3 inch. We love both. The handle has a hook so it doesn’t get submerged causing the handle to be soaked. Bristles are great as well!

oops, I thought I was writing a review for this brush and I accidentally put it on a 1 inch boar pastry brush. Don’t see how to delete or edit that review… But here goes the real one :-). I love this brush. I actually didn’t want it when I first ordered it, but the pastry brush I wanted was out of stock. I am so glad I got this instead! I recommend it to anyone who is an avid Baker. The rounded wide bristles make brushing the top of loaves or rolls with butter, milk, or egg whites incredibly easy. No puddling, no missed spots, and it is quick! Just ordered a second one, just to make sure I’m never out.

This brush is heavy duty. It has held up beautifully even after many uses washing down boiling sugar. I haven't had any issues with the bristles falling out.

Great brush. The size is big enough that it holds a proper about of liquid. The bristles are easy to clean and have yet to shed even with aggressive cleaning. The curved head is also a great feature. I would recommend this product.

These wide boar bristle brushes are perfect for dressing your foods! The bristles do not come out like we have found with others, highly recommend!

What a great pastry brush. I was surprised at the quality of this brush. I did not expect it to have such a beautiful handle and smooth firm bristles. Another plus is that it does not shed!

This brush is a great combination of value and quality. The bristles are flexible enough not to damage more delicate items such as soft proofed bread doughs. I also haven't had any issues with bristles falling out like I have with other value priced brushes.

We have a wide variety of these boar bristle brushes in several sizes they're very highly durable I don't ever really see any bristles ever being lost and I'm you replace them out every few months and for the price you can do that.

Bristle quality seems great. The hook could be slightly larger, the brush slips when bumped. The handle is easy to hold and comfortable for our cooks.

We did not have a lot of success with this product. Used for numerous needs from brushing BBQ Ribs and Chicken, brushing garlic butter on breadsticks and brushing honey butter on biscuits. Within a couple weeks each brush had numerous bristles falling out, we have stopped using them and are searching for a new product for our needs. If the bristles would not have been falling out it would have been a nice product the hook is very helpful and the brush itself coats well.

I loveeee this pastry brush, I have several and you are never disappointed . They work great on pastries or meats. Very easy to wash and they are really well made nice and sturdy.

great quality, soft bristles, hook on the handle is very handy to keep the brush upright during use. it does seem larger than 3 inches; the 3 inch measurement is taken at the point where bristles and plastic meet, but when brushing, the bristles splay out at the ends and it's closer to 3.5 inches coverage. Great buy.

Nice quality bristles, and good solid handle. The concave head makes it good for getting into jars and other similar containers. The hook is very useful.

Great 2 inch pastry brush for brushing egg yolk on top of home made rolls or brushing sauce over any home cooked meat like ribs. Does what it's supposed to. Good price.

Awesome pastry brush! The bristles stay in tact and do not fall out, even when saturated with heavy liquids such as simply syrup. I would definitely reccommend this brush to anyone looking for a durable brush that covers a large surface area.

Very nice pasty brush. They are designed to last. We use this brush for butting our buns with hot butter. They do a great job.

This Boar Bristle Pastry brush with Covcave Head and Hook 3" Wide. it is easy to use when cooking with sugar when making peanut brittle. It swipe the side of the pot easy with water and don't stick. The hook is convenience to place on the side of the pot. Love it. Will buy again it needed.

Now this stylized brush is a great find. It has a cute little hook that hooks on to the edge of a saucepan. And the overall heft and feel has class and style all over it.

For those who prefer the ease of a synthetic brush this one is a good choice. It's soft enough for egg wash on delicate dough and strong enough for melted glazes on pastry. Easy to hold and doesn't seem to loose bristles.

This brush is great for making caramel sauce where you need to brush down the sides of the pot with a little water!!! Nice basting brush too!! Good price!!!!!!

Good synthetic bristle pastry brush. I used it to help clean up cakes with fondant covering. brushes away loose fondant with no issues. Over all good product.
