Strawberry Rose Sangria Recipe

Our sangria recipe is light and sweet with just a hint of rose flavor. We use strawberry rose syrup, but you can try experimenting with different syrup flavors to create your own sangria recipe! We recommend using dry rose wine because it balances out the sweetness of the other ingredients.

Approximate Yield: 6-8 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces Monin Strawberry Rose
  • 4 ounces orange juice
  • 1/2 cup strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 lemon, cut into slices
  • 1 bottle dry rose wine (750 mL)
  • 4 ounces brandy or Grand Marnier
  • 16 ounces club soda or seltzer water
  • Rose petals for garnish

Directions

  1. Combine strawberry rose syrup, orange juice, strawberries, and lemon slices in large pitcher.
  2. Refrigerate pitcher for about an hour to let flavors combine.
  3. Add rose wine and brandy, then refrigerate for at least one more hour.
  4. When ready to serve whole pitcher, add club soda and stir.
  5. For single servings, do not add club soda to pitcher. Instead, fill cocktail glass halfway with ice, add about 5 or 6 ounces of sangria, and top off with club soda.
  6. Garnish with rose petals.

Please note: Whether you're serving this sangria by the glass or by the pitcher, don't add the club soda until just before you are ready to serve. If you add the club soda too soon, the sangria will lose the bubbles and go flat.
