Built with 2 wedge inserts to accommodate a variety of produce, this unit wedges produce 50% faster than traditional single wedge slicers. The increase in efficiency decreases prep time and ultimately reduces labor costs. The blade and pusher head assembly creates an 8-section wedge, but the unit accommodates other blade and pusher head assemblies (sold separately) to produce a variety of cuts. Unlike similar produce cutters, this unit uses a cartridge-style blade and pusher that lets you change the cut size or type in a matter of seconds. Simply pull out the old cartridges by the convenient carrying handles, slide the new ones into the chassis, and lock them in place.
