Out here, nothing but the best will cut it! Whether it's chunking bait or slicing fillet, Dexter knives are the best you can get. I'm Dan Kenny from Go Fish. I just came off the water with Captain Scott Daugherty from Freedom Fighter. We've got some red snapper, some yellow tail, and we're going to show you how to fillet these up. Pretty soon they'll be on the grill and we will be living large! The knife glides right through the fish with little pressure and gives you a great cut. Not only is it safer than using a duller knife, it is smooth and easier to manage. Dexter knives are tough and corrosion resistant. Crafted from proprietary Dexter steel, they are made to be sharp right out of the box with long-lasting and easily-restored edges. To sharpen the knives, begin at the top of the sharpener with the butt of the knife and glide your wrist in a downward motion until you reach the tip. After, flip it to the back side and repeat the motion from butt to tip. After a few rotations, your Dexter edge should be perfect. Dexter knives are strong where it matters, and are flexible to ensure that you always have control. With Dexter knives, you can cut and chunk fish.     This is by far the best fillet knife I have ever owned. I use it to fillet large fish and it works perfectly. The blade has just the right bend to it.

    I love this knife. I have pretty small hands so I'm a bit fussy about the size of knife handles. Sometimes I can't get a good grip on a knife because of the size of the handle. This handle is comfy and the blade is very flexible. I just de-boned 15lbs of chicken thighs for satay - easy!

    I have been looking for a good, reasonably priced carbon steel (non-stainless) filet knife for a long time. This is a great knife. I had it field tested by a friend of mine who has filleted thousands of fish and he rated the knife as "top-notch". I also have skinned my share of fish and also rate the knife as excellent. The knife performs as advertized and has all the advantages of carbon steel over stainless. I would highly recommend this knife to anyone.

    The filet knife is super flexible. The V-lo handles are not only comfortable but they also maintain their grip when things get messy in the kitchen.
