Dexter-Russell 29323 V-Lo 9" Scalloped Offset Bread and Sandwich Knife

Our cooks love these knives for cutting sandwiches and burgers and just about anything. They take abuse and hold up well to it. Pretty inexpensive as well!

Had this knife for seven years. Offset design gives you plenty of knuckle clearance, 9" length lets it sit on a board at work without getting in the way or getting knocked off. Can be sharpened if you are so inclined, but cheap enough to replace if sharpening a bread knife is too much of a hassle for you. Very grippy handle compared to some similar knives.

This knife is just perfect. We use it for bread when making our cuban sandwiches. Slices through the bread with ease even after 2 years. No complaints here. The handle is also perfect to get a nice grip on.

Perfectly fine knife for the price. We keep them around for 6 month or so and then replace them. Nothing special. Works fine, just fine.

I really like the offset design and the soft grip handle. The blade is exceptionally sharp out of the box- more so than any knife I can remember buying. Two passes of the knife, one forward and one back, is sufficient to cut through an artisanal loaf of multi-grain bread. Great value for an American made product.

After two years, I am still using this knife. Certainly a quality product without the expensive price. It was just expected. Would definitely purchase again!

This type of knife is special to cut the tortilla that we use for the chips and I also use it to cut lettuce very good my only choice.

This is a well made and sturdy knife. It is very surprising how often I use it and no definitive signs of wear and tear are apparent. The price is excellent. I will be purchasing more of these.

Another great "shop knife", this one can take the daily use and come.back for more. We use this daily on our small sandwich station and bang out some even-sliced baguette ciabatta etc. I can even "filet" thick cut Pullman or "milk bread".

Cuts bread so easily. The offset makes it so your knuckles don't hit the countertop while cutting. The grip is comfortable and sturdy. Only wish I had bought it sooner.

This knife should be more than 5 stars because if its construction and design. The blade is thick and well made, and it powers through cake layers. The offset handles makes it safer to use, so we can cut quicker.

I bought the 9" offset knife for sandwiches. After arrival yesterday I opened, washed and checked it out. I believe this will work well as I do catered events and bring my own knives no mater where the venue. The price is right and it cuts as a knife if expected to. The one I am replacing is a curved blade sandwich knife that I found myself having to use like a chef knife chopping more than slicing.

This is one of my favorite kitchen knives. I have large hands and this offset knife handle keeps my knuckles from scraping along a cutting board. The blade holds an edge for a long time, and only minor touching up brings it back to "bread sharp" very easily. Dexter-Russell knives can't be beat for value per dollar.

This Dexter-Russell bread knife is impressive! Leaving out the beauty, it still surpasses the ideal of quality. The craftsmanship is remarkable and it never has to be sharpened. Highly recommended!

We bought one of these to replace our previous Dexter-Russell sub knife, they last forever. Very sharp right out of the package and a month later still very sharp. Definitely recommended for sub stations.
