With its durable cast iron body and handle, this French fry cutter easily cuts whole potatoes into 3/8" wide strips. The 3/8" French fry cutter's blade assembly frame and pusher block are rust proof and remove easily after use for easy clean up. Assembly required.

This fry cutter is best for lighter duty use. Not recommended for cutting sweet potatoes. For commercial use, the comparable Nemco model is best.

with the ever increasing cost of products we are always looking for a cheaper but better way to produce great products. and this French fry cutter was a step in that direction. makes a great product every time.

WOW. This is awesome. Large capacity so you can cut really long French fries. I have not attached it to counter but would work a lot easier if more secure.

I bought this for home use but it could easily be used in a restaurant atmosphere. Very sturdy construction and the leverage you get from the long handle makes quick work of slicing through those potatoes. Excellent value and best prices around.

I am very happy with this cutter. It is a bit heavy but feels very solid in use. It cuts like a breeze and gives great, consistent fries. I did learn the hard way not to use potatoes if they get even a little soft. They get stuck in the blades. Use a nice fresh potato and you wont be disappointed.

This is by far the best cutter around. It is all steal construction and really cuts great. It powers though even the largest taters with ease. It comes apart easy to clean. The suction cup feet are very powerful on a stainless table. Could not live without it.

This french fry cutter works just as it should though, it is a bit heavy, and cleaning requires disassembling and unscrewing both the cutter and pushblock. 3/8" cutter made about 2 dozen nice size fries from an one average potato.

Made about 2 dozen fries for 3/8" cutter from 1 potato.

I purchased the French Fry cutter, for out Christmas bazaar, and like the other reviews, we did attach it to the wall. Much better. Makes awesome French fries, so easy and quick. Great buy and inexpensive. Would purchase again.

Had to buy this one for a friend who kept borrowing mine. This really gets a workout. Also purchased the 1/4in cutter head that attaches easily. Real solid unit!

Bought this last year for "home use". Now I can easily make "shoestring" fries, just sorry I didn't buy one sooner! Good "heavy" construction, easy to use and clean, love it!

This french fry slicer is quite nice for the price. I had the pleasure of using one during my culinary schooling, and it is a nice piece of equipment. It is sturdy, durable, and easy to clean.

This french fry cutter for an old time burger joint. Just one press and you have fresh fries ready to drop. Its very durable and easy to clean.

This cutter is my business! Without this fry cutter I could not produce the product that all of my customers expect; hot, crisp and constant hot french fries.

    from CUP-O-FRIEZS Posted on

Spend the money on a really good french fry cutter if you're not just making the occasional batch of french fries with dinner. The handle is so much heavier than the cheaply-built unit that it's borderline scary to use. The tines bent beyond recognition within a week of light use.

This is a really great french fry cutter. Especially for the price. barely 42 bucks you can't go wrong! less than half the price of most of the fry cutters out there

Great product, every place should cut their french fries in house. This give the perfect size cut for any potato. Blade will begin to dull over time and fixture should be screwed into something heavy to make punch process easier

Excellant convience for great fries. When I purchased I forgot to get the "wall mount" and it was difficult clamping to the counter top hehehe. Recommend getting the wall mount added. Makes all the difference in the world. I purched the 1/4" plates 2 weeks later, and the worked perfect with swap out. So now have convience of 3/8" or 1?4" fries, Recommend this for anyone planning on doing french fries the convient way

makes nice French fries. takes a lot of strength to pull the handle. needs a way to ad more leverage. maybe little longer handle or something, I'm not sure how to do it.

It does an awesome job of cutting fries with the 3/8" cutter. I just ordered a 1/4" cutter and pusher. You must order a new pusher with a new cutter unless you already have a pusher for the new cutter of that particular size. It is awesome to have in my home kitchen. I can kick out 5 pounds of fries in just minutes. Enough to feed the hungry family.

This is a very, very good quality product to have on hand when making home fries. However it works best when mounted on a block of wood to keep it still when in use. Many size cutters to fit too.

    3/8" cutter size

Made in China so it only gets 4 stars. Base mounting legs are uneven but shouldn't be a big problem if bolted down tightly to whatever you mount it on. Assembly is required and there are no instructions included but they are posted online so you can print it out. Also, you'll need a set of metric wrenches or at least three that include 10mm, 14mm and 17mm. Fortunately I had a set on my workbench. I suppose you could get by with a pair of pliers and a small adjustable wrench but the working space on some of the nuts is fairly close. It does cut well but it's the first time I've used one so I don't have anything to compare it with. It is probably a very good deal for the price.
