Strainer chinois straining kitchen perfect great large mesh strain broths

Works just like it should. The hook and handle allow us to rest the strainer between the faucet and edge of sink. So you can keep both your hands on what you're straining.

I love this chinois so much that every time I move to a new kitchen I purchase,or try to convince the purchaser to buy this exact same model.

We use it to strain our pork broth for our ramen. It makes life so much easier. A must have tool for every kitchen. Highly recommend

I bought this large strainer to use in my coffee company. It holds extra large paper filters well for filtering cold-brew coffee and cold-brew tea. I can set this right onto a 5 gallon food-safe bucket and let gravity do the work. The large opening makes pouring liquids into it a breeze.

We strain a lot of broth, so this new strainer has been a huge time saver for me. The fine mesh leaves us with a great clear base for our soups.

This product does what it's suppose to do for a commercial kitchen. After tons of uses its still in very good shape. This chinois paid for itself.

The 10" Bouillon / Chinois Strainer, #40740P, is a large heavy duty strainer hat we are quite pleased with and have used many times. We would recommend this product.

A must for every kitchen - long handle protects against hot liquids, perforation size great for everything including hot oil, reductions, broths, and even behind the bar to strain tinctures.

    from Amilinda Posted on

Not just used for straining, but we also use it to filter the oil from our fryer. The long stem is perfect for not getting a hand burnt.

from Plan 9 Alehouse Posted on

This really is the perfect size for restaurant use. Smaller ones work well, but this is perfect for making stocks and straining larger quantities of sauces. Good quality construction, comfortable grip on the handle and for a really fair price.

    from Teva Posted on

Just as good as the ones I can find at stores or elsewhere online but cheaper at Webstaurant! Cheaper is a good thing! Great service too! Heavier weight than the ones at the store and cheaper!!!

This is a must buy. They are a great strainer. We always called them china caps in cuilinery school. When you need to strain a very strong strainer this is the one.

A kitchen essential! Used for straining our chicken stock. Gets all the small bits out and leaves a nice clean stock. Easy to hose clean.

from Big Family Pizza, Inc Posted on

This chinois is great for straining soups and stocks. The fine mesh is also perfect for straining sauces to ensure perfect smoothness. The metal band on the bottom helps protect the mesh and keeps it from touching the bottom of containers/pots when being used.

This is something every kitchen must have and we use it on a regular basis for making sauces and broths. It is easy to clean and has faired us well for the past six months.

    from ShuBrew Posted on

Durable and just the right size for straining our stocks. Makes the broth just about clear. Occasionally we will run it through two times. Highly recommended.

This is the perfect sized chinois for our kitchen. In the past it has been hard for us to find decent chinois at a good price point that are built well and sturdy enough for a commercial kitchen. Ours was packaged very carefully and feels solid and well built. Time will tell, but I believe it will hold up to our kitchen's abuse.

This chinois is exceptional for the price. It works as well as the double layer mesh models sold for upwards of $150.00 or more. I use mine for straining stocks and dashi broth; both come out very clear. I clean mine in the dishwasher without issues.

I ordered this 10" bouillon to strain the seeds and skin after boiling hot peppers to be used for enchalada sauce. I like the size to save time

    from Legends Salon Posted on

This strainer is good for clear soups and broths. It easily hooks on the edge of a large plastic container or another pot for easy hands free straining. I would not push items through this strainer as it is typically for more delicate and pure liquid extraction.

Single layered fine mesh strainer/chinois that works really well. For the price, you can buy two or three compared to what double layered chinois cost at the local restaurant supply store. We use it daily and take good care of it, we should be looking at a few years of service out of it. Can't ask for more than that.

This strainer, also called a chinois, is perfect for straining fine particles out of your food for a perfectly smooth end product. Great for soup and juice.

    from Verite Catering Posted on

Shopped everywhere to find the 10" Bouillon Strainer. Exceptional Quality. Saves so much time when you need to strain a large amount of liquid. Very fine mesh. Really good tool in the kitchen.
