I bought this large strainer to use in my coffee company. It holds extra large paper filters well for filtering cold-brew coffee and cold-brew tea. I can set this right onto a 5 gallon food-safe bucket and let gravity do the work. The large opening makes pouring liquids into it a breeze.

This really is the perfect size for restaurant use. Smaller ones work well, but this is perfect for making stocks and straining larger quantities of sauces. Good quality construction, comfortable grip on the handle and for a really fair price.

This is a must buy. They are a great strainer. We always called them china caps in cuilinery school. When you need to strain a very strong strainer this is the one.

This chinois is great for straining soups and stocks. The fine mesh is also perfect for straining sauces to ensure perfect smoothness. The metal band on the bottom helps protect the mesh and keeps it from touching the bottom of containers/pots when being used.

This is the perfect sized chinois for our kitchen. In the past it has been hard for us to find decent chinois at a good price point that are built well and sturdy enough for a commercial kitchen. Ours was packaged very carefully and feels solid and well built. Time will tell, but I believe it will hold up to our kitchen's abuse.

This chinois is exceptional for the price. It works as well as the double layer mesh models sold for upwards of $150.00 or more. I use mine for straining stocks and dashi broth; both come out very clear. I clean mine in the dishwasher without issues.

This strainer is good for clear soups and broths. It easily hooks on the edge of a large plastic container or another pot for easy hands free straining. I would not push items through this strainer as it is typically for more delicate and pure liquid extraction.

Single layered fine mesh strainer/chinois that works really well. For the price, you can buy two or three compared to what double layered chinois cost at the local restaurant supply store. We use it daily and take good care of it, we should be looking at a few years of service out of it. Can't ask for more than that.
