Strains well, but began developing rust after only a couple times of use. Seems to do better when not used for damp items, although that kind of defeats the purpose. Buy a stainless one.

Thank you for the review! We're sorry these have developed rust for you. These must be washed and thoroughly dried directly after using to help resist rust.

This strainer has been very durable and does the trick of straining fine materials or sifting flour, grits, cornmeal, etc. The size is also good for home use.

I like this strainer a lot. It's perfect for large batches of goods, and its a pretty decent quality. Has held up quite well so far

This is a wonderful addition to our kitchen. We had an older one that was in terrible shape. We replaced with this strainer and it's been wonderful. Only downside is that this large on is just a little bit on the flimsy side. But it's not too bad and I would buy more again if needed.

We use it to strain soups and sometimes for sauces, and it works great. I will put it on my rebuy list for sure. Good quality too.

Overall, this is a decent strainer. If you take out the wooden handle insert, it will even pass for a commercial kitchen situation. It is a very high quality mesh and sturdy handle.

I make my own tomato sauce from the gaden tomatoes I grwo. I need something to strain the seeds and pulp from the sauce after I pureed it, and this was the prefect choice. It works exactly as I needed it to !!!

Great strainer to have. Strain sauces in it to make sure they are velvety smooth and nothing gets through. I also use it when I juice lemons so no pulp or seeds get in the bowl.
