This Hobart HS6-1PS 13" manual slicer blends superior performance with a host of smart design features that make it easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to integrate into any deli, market, or restaurant! This model boasts an integrated portion scale which weighs product as you slice it, boosting efficiency and helping you work smarter. With it, you won't need a separate scale on the counter and employees will save time since they can check the weight right on the slicer. They can also cut to exact weight specifications, which reduces waste and helps immensely when training new employees who are still learning how to slice common weights for meats and cheeses. The scale is easy to operate and features touch-screen controls that can weigh up to 10 lb. in increments of 0.01 lb. or 0.1 oz. Speed keys allow you to save frequently used settings, and it also alerts you when routine care and maintenance are needed, including blade sharpening, cleaning, sanitizing, and lubrication.

The 13" CleanCut stainless steel knife delivers superior performance over the competition, with an exclusive alloy edge design that stays sharp 2 - 3 times longer than similar knives. And when the knife does need sharpened, the Borazon sharpening stone hones the edge in just seconds. The product carriage can accept foods up to 5 3/4" x 10 3/4", or 7 1/2" in diameter, and a meat grip arm helps to hold it in place. It can cut any thickness up to 1".

Cleaning this slicer couldn't be easier, too! The knife, ring guard cover, and meat grip arm are all fully removable to make cleaning an easy process, and the product carriage can either be tilted back for a quick midday wipe-down, or removed for a more thorough cleaning. A one-piece aluminum base limits the chance for food to accumulate, and makes wiping it down an easy process. The sharpening stone is dishwasher safe for added convenience, and the knife features a zero-exposure design that protects your employees from accidental contact with it during cleaning.

This slicer also comes with a wide range of safety features to give you and your employees peace of mind during operation - it features interlocks on the gauge plate and carriage system to protect the knife edge, and turning the index knob to the closed position automatically shuts the slicer off. In the event of power loss, the slicer must also be restarted - it will not turn back on automatically.

A 1/2 hp knife drive motor provides the power needed to slice through meats and cheeses with ease! It comes with a 6' power cord and plug, and requires a 120V electrical connection for operation.
