Looking for the ultimate turner for your grill or restaurant? This Dexter-Russell 16311 Traditional wood-handled turner with perforated balde offers performance and value for commercial use and combines durability and efficiency into one great product! Featuring a natural beechwood handle, this turner is perfect for the traditional chefs who prefer the warmth and feel of a wooden handle! The handle is secured to the blade with brass compression rivets for ultimate sturdiness. Exceptional at “holding an edge” this turner is great for flipping burgers, pancakes, and other grill menu items, while its perforated surface allows oils and juices from meats to drain with flipping. Its high quality blade is made of carbon steel. Carbon steel delivers higher performance than stainless steel and is preferred by experienced chefs. However, carbon steel is not rust-resistant and requires special care and cannot have food left on the blade for long periods of time, especially acidic foods. Precision ground, this carbon steel balde provides just the right amount of flexibility for even easier handling of food.
This carbon steel turner ensures high-quality performance; however, if not taken care of properly, as any cutlery piece should be, this turner’s long-term functionality may diminish. Be sure to take special care of your valued product with these easy steps. Your 16311 turner should be hand washed only in mild to medium strength detergent, and towel dried immediately after to prevent rusting of your carbon steel blade. High heat and chemicals from the dishwasher can wear down your product over time. Plus, the wooden handle will eventually fade and split if put in the dishwasher. You should not soak your product for long periods of time or allow it to remain submerged for cleaning. Also, do not use any chlorine or bleach products on your stainless steel turner, as this will cause discoloring and pitting. Finally, refrain from letting your product soak in aluminum pans or stainless steel sinks to prevent Galvanic action from occurring.
Take your next step with Dexter-Russell and invest in this 16311 wood-handled turner today! Enjoy easier cooking and food preparation with the high-quality features of this turner.

This is a quality product. I like that the perforations allow grease to drip through. I wish they made this product with a shorter blade, though, as it\\\\'s too large to use in most home application (except perhaps on a grill or griddle).

A very nice turner and it gets used a lot around here. I use it at a bbq grill most of the time and it works great!

My kitchen manager loves this turner. Perfect size for our grilled sandwiches, and the perforations leave behind any grease or liquid that will make bread soggy. Just don't put in the dishwasher!!
