Maximum Protection

Its automatic safety overload switch will cut the power in the event of overdraw to protect your unit from damage, while the included stainless steel bowl guard also prevents clothing, utensils, or your employees' hands from encountering the agitator when the mixer is in use. For added safety, this mixer will not operate when the bowl guard is opened, when the bowl is lowered, or if the bowl is removed.

Versatile Accessories

In addition to a 30 qt. type 304 stainless steel bowl, this mixer comes with a variety of other accessories, including a type 304 stainless steel wire whip for mixing liquids and soft foods, a cast aluminum flat beater for mixing dry ingredients, and a cast aluminum dough hook for kneading bread or pizza dough on low speed.

Meat Grinder Attachment

It comes with a 1/4" grinder plate, a pusher, stainless steel feed pan, and cast iron construction on key components for durability. Simply secure the attachment in the mixer hub, place a bowl or container under the outlet, and you can start processing fresh ground meat. You can also purchase additional plate sizes (sold separately) to increase versatility.

Manual Bowl Lift

This mixer also features a manual bowl lift that raises the bowl to the proper height for mixing with just the turn of a wheel!

Gear-Driven Transmission

Its 1 3/4 hp motor and 3-speed gear-driven transmission prevents the risk of drive system slip that can happen with belt driven models.

Can I use this standard-duty mixer to make pizza dough?

This standard-duty mixer can be used to make the occasional small batch of pizza dough, however, it should function on low speed to prevent burning out the motor. For larger, more frequent batches of pizza dough, check out our selection of spiral dough mixers!

Do I need to apply lubricant to this attachment?

To ensure that your mixer or other equipment remains in good working order, always check to make sure the hub attachment or accessory is lubricated with food-safe lubricant before use.

Does the hp (horsepower) rating of this mixer reflect the output to the mixer bowl?

Our motor hp reference is meant to indicate the horsepower rating of the motor itself and not the mixer's horsepower output to the mixer bowl.

How do I know if this mixer is suitable for my needs?

This mixer is great for a variety of different applications. However, to ensure that you find a mixer that will cover your needs, we recommend referring to the manufacturer literature for more detailed information about what each specific model can handle. If you don't see the food you wish to mix, look for closest comparable food in texture.

I'm concerned that the plates and knives I have won't work with this hub. Is there a way I can be sure they will fit?

Measure the square hole in your plate or knife. A standard #12 hub fits plates and knives with a 9/16" square hole, while a standard #22 hub fits plates and knives with a 3/4" square hole.

Why is there grease leaking out of my mixer?

The leaking is caused by grease breaking down inside the gear box. The grease can be replaced in the gear box to fix this issue. It’s recommended this is done by a qualified service technician.
