Customer questions about this product

Are the blades interchangeable?
If you replace the frame and pusher block together, you can convert an Update, Thunder, or Winco brand French fry cutter from one cutting size to another. However, the replacement frame and pusher blocks are not compatible with Nemco fry cutters.
Ask your own question!

With its durable cast iron body and handle, this French fry cutter easily cuts whole potatoes into 1/4" wide strips. The 1/4" French fry cutter's blade assembly frame and pusher block are rust proof and remove easily after use for easy clean up. Assembly required.

This French fry cutter is best for lighter duty use. Not recommended for cutting sweet potatoes. For commercial use, the comparable Nemco model is best.

Overall User Rating: 1/4" French Fry Cutter ( 4.6 stars from 15 reviews )

This item is useless with the 1/4" cutter. It mashes the potato before it will go thru the cutters. Took out some of the blades and now make 1/4" x 1/2" fries. It would be nice if they offered some sution cups with it to hold it on the countertop.

Great product, my aunts will be using this in their start up venture for their small Mexican restaurant. It was a good choice in price, durability and overall performance.

you really need quite a bit of force to operate this, especially with the 1/4" size cutter. It is possible to add the grey suction feet shown in the photo, which allow you to "stick" the cutter down to a suitable smooth surface, making it easier to operate.

Bought this cutter for a backup just in case my main one breaks. Have tested it out and would have to say that I like it for the price and ease of mind.

This works great! It makes perfect fries, and everything comes apart to make for easy cleaning. The 1/4" size requires more force, so mounting it is a good idea.

This light duty quarter inch fry cutter is great way for family to own one. I got one for the house and it works like magic. Love it.

If you want to make your own french fries from scratch then this is the fry cutter to get. This french fry cutter is extremely durable: the main body is made up from cast-iron (very strong) assembly and is constructed very durably. The blades and the potato pusher is made from stainless steel, and both can be replace whenever needed or swapped to 2 other sizes of potato cutters. An excellent feature of this fry cutter is that it can be mounted on the wall. And for that price, this cutter's price and quality can't be beaten.
